Captain Damisha Croney expresses confidence in Barbados World Cup squad IFNA

Captain Damisha Croney says she has confidence in her netball team preparing for his summer’s IFNA World Cup in Liverpool, England.

Barbados qualified for the World Cup after finishing runner’s up to Trinidad and Tobago at the 2018 AFNA World Cup qualifiers in Barbados in September 2018.

Since that time, the team has been preparing and a nice blend of players were selected to travel to Liverpool where it will take on the world’s best teams from July 12-21.

“The Barbados Netball Senior team consists of a wealth of experienced players, who would have participated in the recent Commonwealth Games and the last Netball World Cup,” Croney told Sportsmax.TV this week.
“This mixture of youth and experience within the team provides a great balance and is definitely a plus for us.

“This blend along with the commitment of the ladies as well as the high intensity at training makes me a confident captain going into this year's Netball World Cup.”

The full squad is Captain Damisha  Croney (WA and C), Vice Captain Latonia Blackman (GS GA), Shonette Azore-Bruce (GK GD), Rhe-Ann Niles-Mapp (GD GK), Shonte Seale (GK GD), Tonisha Rock-Yaw (WD C), Samantha Browne (WD WA), Amanda Knight (C WD), Rieah Holder (C WA), Shonica Wharton (GS), Sheniqua Thomas (GS GA) and Brianna Holder (GA GS).
