St George’s College (STGC) were the most dominant team in the quarterfinal of the ISSA Champions Cup on Saturday, the light blues of North Street running out 5-0 winners over a usually dogged St Andrew Technical High School (STATHS) at Stadium East.

St. Elizabeth Technical High School (STETHS), one of the two remaining daCosta Cup teams in the ISSA Champions Cup, will face off against a strong Charlie Smith side when the competition resumes on November 9 and 10.

Camperdown High School came from two goals down in their ISSA/Digicel Manning Cup game against Charlie Smith to earn top spot after the first round of games in the quarter-final groupings now under way.

Three-time champions Charlie Smith High, Denham Town High and Holy Trinity High schools booked their places in the second round of the 2018 ISSA/Digicel Manning Cup competition on Match Day 18 on Saturday.

Wolmer’s Boys head coach, Alex Thomas, was quick to commend the resilience of his charges following a hard-fought 2-1 win over Holy Trinity, in a top-of-the-table Group G ISSA/Digicel Manning Cup match at Heroes Circle on Tuesday.

In a battle among the teams who could be vying for group G honours when the first round of the ISSA/Digicel Manning Cup comes to its conclusion, Wolmer’s Boys’ School edged Holy Trinity in an early top-of-the-table clash.
